Louis Walsh has Celeb Big Brother fans in hysterics over huge nomination blunder

Louis Walsh's Celebrity Big Brother blunder had fans in hysterics.

The former X Factor judge is currently appearing on the ITV reality show alongside his pal Sharon Osbourne, Zeze Millz, Ekin-Su and Real Housewives' Lauren Simon. But while Louis has been getting to know everybody in the house, it appears names aren't his strongest point.

In the latest episode of the show, the famous housemates were made to nominate two people who they think should face the public eviction this week and while everybody nominated a housemate... Louis had other ideas. This week, Louis, Ferne Britton and Lauren Simon are facing the public eviction.

But when it came to nominating a housemate, Louis appeared to think he could nominate a celebrity who was outside of the house. The 71-year-old had fans in hysterics over his nomination. During an episode of Late and Live, it was revealed that Louis, who nominated Britton for being like "wallpaper" had another celebrity on his mind.

"The person that I decided to nominate for eviction is Fearne Cotton," he said before Big Brother corrected him. He responded: "Ferne Britton, yeah, Ferne Britton. My second nomination is Ferne Britton." His comments have sent fans into a frenzy as they took to X, formerly known as Twitter to share their views.

One said: "Louis nominating Fearne Cotton - they should've shown that on the main show. #cbbuk." A second penned: "HAHAHA Louis nominated Fearne Cotton and not Fern Britton #CBBUK." "Louis mixing up Fern Cotton & Fern Britton #CBBUK," said another. Meanwhile, a fourth penned: "Lmao not Louis confusing Fern's name with Fearne Cotton."

In another clip that was shown on Late and Live ahead of Tuesday's episode, Louis could be seen yelling at his housemates over their loud behaviour. The teaser clip showed Louis screaming out as he mocks and moans about some of the other cast.

While eating his breakfast next to Ekin-Su, ahead of him possibly being booted out of the show on Tuesday night, Louis slams his co-stars who begin singing loudly. It's not clear who is singing, but he looks towards the sofas where housemates including Colson Smith, Bradley Riches and Marisha Wallace are sitting.

Bradley and others including David Potts have been performing a lot in the house, and it seems Louis is not keen, on being nominated for eviction by a number of housemates. Calling them out, he tells Ekin-Su: "I wish they'd shut up, do you?" As Ekin-Su laughed, she urged him to tell them, to which he said quietly: "Just shut up and give us a break. It's all day. Seriously it's too much I wish they'd shut up." As Sharon Osbourne entered the room, he went on: "It's too much, they're all too much Sharon. It's constant."
