However, fans in the comments section were spit on their thoughts. One fan echoed the initial poster's comments, writing alongside crying with laughter emojis: "She knew cameras were still rolling," while another slammed: "The very good liars."

However, others were keen to defend the couple's actions and insist it was natural. One user wrote: "Love comes spontaneously unless if you have never been loved then you will think they are performing. The way you love us not how they do."

Another fumed: "Some people are so pathetic that they won't believe that they love each other. Stop looking for negativity in their lives and get rid of it in your own life. Maybe someday your heart will change."

Harry and Meghan were both recently in Austin, Texas, for the former actress' speech at SXSW. Following their appearance, the couple were spotted in San Antonio at the airport, with a body language expert saying Meghan showed a "gesture of affection".

"Meghan has long been a fan of the steering hand touch, frequently placing a hand on Harry’s back in a gesture that can have several potential uses," Judi told The Mirror exclusively.

She continued: "It’s one of her favourite tie-signs or method of non-verbal communication with her husband and its use can vary from letting him know she’s there at a social event and keen to get into a conversation to offering a supportive and rewarding message of almost maternal affection to steering him about to make sure he gets from A to B."
