Manchester United will be looking to book their place in the FA Cup semi-final when they host Liverpool in a blockbuster last-eight clash this weekend.

The Red Devils returned to winning ways as goals from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford helped them to a 2-0 victory over Everton on Saturday.

It wasn't the most vintage performance from United, but ultimately they did enough to secure all three points which reignited their top-four hopes.

But attention now turns to the FA Cup when they face Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday. The Red Devils have beaten Wigan, Newport and Nottingham Forest to reach the quarter-final, while Jurgen Klopp's Reds have been victorious over Arsenal, Norwich and Southampton en route. Here is the latest news from the Red Devils.

Ten Hag on injured trio

Ten Hag is hopeful that Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire and Rasmus Hojlund will return to the squad for United's game against Liverpool this weekend.

The Red Devils face Jurgen Klopp's side at Old Trafford in the FA Cup quarter-final on Sunday. With United not in Europe and all but out of the race to win the Premier League, the FA Cup is their only realistic chance to win a major trophy between now and the end of the season.

And Ten Hag is eyeing up the return of three first-team stars from injury after missing the win over Everton over the weekend. "Hopefully, some return," Ten Hag told TalkSPORT. "Aaron Wan-Bissaka was, yesterday, on the pitch. We expect also Harry Maguire back in the squad next week. Rasmus Hojlund has good hope he will make it as well."

Sancho makes decision

Jadon Sancho will reportedly seek a permanent move away from Old Trafford this summer because he doesn't want to play for Erik ten Hag.

The 23-year-old, who is currently out on loan at Borussia Dortmund, was frozen out following a disagreement. Sancho was exiled from first-team training after refusing to apologise for a social media outburst. The England international claimed he was a "scapegoat" after Ten Hag said the reason he had been left out of their trip to Arsenal in September was because of his performances in training.

Sancho sat on the sidelines until a move could be engineered in January as he moved back to Dortmund in a loan move until the end of the season. He will return to United this summer, but it has now been reported that Sancho does not want to play for the Red Devils again while Ten Hag is in charge.

According to Bild, the winger is seeking a permanent move away from the Red Devils. Sancho is said to blame Ten Hag for the downturn in his career and does not want to play under him again. Read the full story.

Keane on Watkins

Roy Keane believes that Aston Villa forward Ollie Watkins could play for a 'top team' like Liverpool or Manchester City... or even Manchester United.

Despite drawing a blank against Tottenham on Sunday, Watkins has scored 16 goals and provided 10 assists in the Premier League this season. Only Erling Haaland (18) has scored more than Watkins in the top flight, while he is level alongside Pascal Gross (10) and Kieran Trippier (10) in the assist category.

And Keane has tipped Watkins to secure a move away from Villa, despite them being inside the top four and chasing a place in the Champions League this season.

"He could play for one of the top teams, couldn’t he?" Keane said on Sky Sports. "Villa are a top team but you're talking about bigger clubs in Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City. That’s a compliment to him, not that he has to leave Villa. But he’s capable of doing it. The kid is so sharp, he has a great shape to him. His movement is as good as any striker in the Premier League. He's having an amazing season." Read the full story.
