Louis Walsh blames Lauren Simon as he faces eviction on Celebrity Big Brother
Celebrity Big Brother's Louis Walsh suggested it was another housemate's fault that he was placed up for eviction during Monday's episode.
The X Factor judge seemed furious with his fellow housemates after he received a number of nominations. Not only that, but a chance to be saved from the public vote was lost when Sharon Osbourne saved another housemate instead.
In the fallout to the result, Sharon defended her reasons for not saving him or Lauren Simon, and instead saving Zeze Millz. Sharon then nominated Fern Britton instead, before using her not being one of the "young housemates having fun" as her excuse.
While Sharon and Fern cleared the air, Fern was upset but said she understood her reasons. Louis on the other hand seemed furious about the whole thing, and wasted no time time in telling Lauren his theory about why he was picked.
But viewers, like Lauren, were left reeling when he appeared to blame her for him being nominated. Louis suggested he was chosen because he spoke to Lauren and they were close in the house, and perhaps their co-stars wanted to split them up.

Lauren then asked him: "So it's my fault?" and appeared teary as Louis tried to downplay what he had said.
Viewers took to X over the comments, surprised that Louis had shifted the blame and not accepted that his co-stars wanted him gone. One viewer said: "Did I hear that right? Did Louis blame Lauren on his nomination because he was friends with her?!?!! No pls hahahahaha."
Another viewer said: "Did Louis just causally blame Lauren for why he is nominated?! LMFAO this man cracks me up," as another wrote: "Not Louis trying to blame Lauren for his nominations. No luv you’re both equally insufferable." A further comment read: "How’s he gonna blame Lauren for him being nominated so casually."
It follows the first eviction of the series on Friday night, as Gary Goldsmith was booted out of the famous house. He had been nominated by Sharon earlier in the week, while Lauren soon joined him as a nominated housemate.

Gary was met with a mixed reaction as he left the house, while the crowd were heard booing him earlier on in the night.
As Kate Middleton’s uncle left the famous compound, viewers were convinced a house feud was apparent. On Sunday's episode, it aired the aftermath of the eviction as Gary's fellow housemates made their thoughts about his exit very clear.
Louis Walsh didn't hold back as he immediately declared it was the "right decision" and "it's great", adding: "I hammed it up deliberately, I was hamming it up, pretending I was shocked…”. Sharon then said to her fellow housemates: "Do we know what he does, I have no idea... he talks in riddles!" to which Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu replied he likes to party in Ibiza.
Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers shared their thoughts over the scenes. One person said: "Everyone’s reading Gary DOWN 2 seconds after he just walked out I can’t #CBBUK", another wrote: "The whole house still s******g off Gary after his exit.
#CBBUK", a different person said: "Gary gone 0.7 seconds and they’re already s******g him off omg #cbbuk" while another added: "Everyone spending the first 10 minutes of Gary being out the house s******g him off #CBBUK."
