CBB's Ekin-Su would make a change to her personal appearance when she was on another reality show to give signs to those at home from behind the scenes.

She is currently living in the Celebrity Big Brother house in ITV's revamped version of the iconic series. But it's not Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu's first rodeo with reality TV and following in the footsteps of other stars on shows like I'm a Celebrity, she once devised a way to contact her friends on the outside, even though she was miles away and on the telly.

In 2022 she shot to fame when she appeared in Love Island, which she went on to eventually win alongside Davide Sanclimenti. It wasn't all plain sailing for her on the eighth season of ITV's hit dating show though as the very passionate Ekin and Davide went through their ups and downs live on TV.

But apparently the Turkish actress had a way to let her friends back home know how she was feeling inside the Spanish villa. One of her pals revealed at the time that when she styled her hair in a certain way it had a deeper meaning.

Her best mate Arabella Ovenden told OK! That when Ekin plaited her hair it was a way to communicate: "We have this sign – if she ever plaits her hair that means that she misses me. She did it almost straight away," she said while she was still in Love Island. Arabella went on to say that it seemed like the other girls were isolating Ekin-Su. "It made me feel bad, girls can be very bitchy and it just didn't seem like they were taking to her. She won't let people mess her about, she's very genuine."

Ekin-Su delighted fans when she grilled her housemate Gary Goldsmith, who was evicted during Friday night's live show, on the true whereabouts of his royal niece Kate Middleton. Kate's uncle insisted that he's 'not a villain' as fans of the CBB continued to criticise him for joining the TV show amid his niece's health woes. Royal fans have been sharing their concern for Kate, who recently underwent abdominal surgery and is currently recovering at home.

Gary claimed that Ekin-Su was playing a game after he became the first celebrity to be kicked out of the house. He appeared on ITV2 show Late and Live and told presenter Will Best he thought she was a pro at reality.

"100% - it's a very unusual dynamic," he said. "But if you want to win the show, and win it as a game, you have to play it as a game. Ekin-Su's got so much more experience than most people of doing that and she's doing it brilliantly. It's a game, so all credit to her for doing what she's doing. It's all about getting airtime, saying the right things to the right people, getting people onside. It's being that magnet that people are drawn to."
