Sydney Sweeney wears same dress Angelina Jolie wore at 2004 Oscars to afterparty
Sydney Sweeney opted for the ultimate vintage fashion find as she stepped out to an Oscars afterparty in an iconic dress.
The cream satin plunging gown was originally worn by Angelina Jolie some 20 years ago and was proudly brought back to life by Euphoria star Sydney for arguably the biggest night out in Hollywood all year. Angelina wore the sultry piece by American designer Marc Bouwer when she attended the Academy Awards in 2004.
The gown has a plunging front and is entirely backless with delicate curve-enhancing ruching to the waist. Sydney worked alongside stylist Molly Dickinson to create her own version of the legendary look, paying homage to Angelina by accessorising the look in a similar style.

She added layered custom-made necklaces from designer Messika and a white sash to complete the look.

The Anyone But You actress was shared on Instagram by stylist Molly as she thanks the original designer for allowing them to use the dress. She wrote: "Thank you so much Marc + @paulmargolin for letting us into your archives for this special moment!"
Sydney recently joked about how she achieved her curvaceous physique as she made her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live. She started her monologue by joking that she has achieved her famous hourglass figure by using weight-loss drug Ozempic, before poking fun at rumours that she had had an affair with her Anything But You co-star Glenn Powell while engaged to businessman Jonathan Davino.

She said: "But the craziest rumour is that I was having an affair with my co-star Glenn Powell. That's obviously not true. Me and my fiancé produced the movie together, and he was there the entire shoot."
The Hollywood star continued: "And I just want to let everyone know that he's the man of my dreams, and we're still together and stronger than ever. He even came here tonight to support me. Can we cut to him?"
When the camera cut to the audience, it rested upon Glen rather than Davino, with Sydney exclaiming: "That's not my fiancé! He's in my dressing room!" This came after Sydney had introduced herself to the audience, saying: "You might have seen me in Anyone But You or Euphoria. You definitely did not see me in Madame Web."
The superhero flick, also starring Dakota Johnson, was panned by critics and has flopped with audiences at the box office.
