Joe Wicks has shared a startling photo of his daughter, whose face became so swollen after an allergic reaction, even her eyes looked sore.

Now aged five, Indie was only eight months old when she reacted to eating cashew butter, which caused her skin to flare up into a nasty rash. When asked during a Q&A whether his daughter still had the allergy, Joe, 38, replied with a snap of the tot, who looked quite poorly as she battled the reaction.

Thankfully, Indie seems to have got the allergy out of her system as the father-of-three captioned the photo: "This was Indie around 8 months old when she first tried cashew butter. She was fine with almond and peanut butter so we assumed she would be fine. She came up in a rash and threw up. We offered it to her again about a year after and she was fine so she doesn't have a cashew allergy."

The Body Coach, who inspired the nation during lockdown with his healthy living videos, announced in January that he and wife, Rosie, were expecting their fourth child. The couple are already parents to India (Indie), five, Marley, four, and Leni, one. Taking to Instagram, Joe shared, excitedly: "Baby number 4 incoming #20weeks."

Within minutes of the post going live, the pair were met with tons of messages from fans and celebrity friends. Jools Oliver penned: "Yay so excited for you all the happiest news," alongside a string of heart emojis. Another fan gushed: "Ahhhh that's amazing news!!! I'm so happy for all of you!! Such a beautiful family."

Joe and Rosie married in 2019 and tend to keep their lives private. However, last year the fitness guru revealed he was homeschooling Indie to “spend more time” as a family. During a Q&A, he opened up about his decision to pull his daughter our of school, saying: "There's really nothing more to the decision than we just love being together as a family and want to spend more with the kids while we can. She had a great year in reception but we have always loved teaching the kids at home and want the freedom to travel more and explore the world. She might go to school next year. We have no idea long term but want to do at least a year of home educating."

However, Joe also admitted to feeling "frustrated and stressed" after he and Rosie welcomed Leni. Speaking to New magazine, he explained: "I'm used to getting eight hours. When I wake up and I’ve been woken up three or four times it really breaks your sleep." Explaining how he gets his energy back, the fitness instructor said exercise was key, advising any parents in a similar situation to "get moving".
