Simon Cowell breaks silence on Sharon and Louis' hurtful CBB comments

Simon Cowell has broken his silence on the snide remarks that Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne made about him on Celebrity Big Brother.

Sharon, 71, worked alongside Louis Walsh, also 71, and Simon, 64, for several years but in a furious rant on Celebrity Big Brother, she blamed the music mogul for ruining her career and explained how it all ended with the music mogul and why they don't talk anymore.

Both Sharon and Louis also poked fun at Simon's changing appearance, as reality TV queen Sharon joked that her former X Factor boss would "need more botox" by the time she's finished exposing him to the nation.

Sharon has slammed Simon

Following Sharon and Louis' onslaught of comments about Simon, the music mogul has now broken his silence - and it seems that Simon isn't fazed by their confessions. When asked by OK! what he makes of them on the show, Simon simply said: “I think they could both win.”

Despite the fact that Sharon slammed Simon as "fake", it appears that he harbours no hard feelings towards his former X Factor co-star. Sharon was only in the Celebrity Big Brother house for five days, but her bestie Louis is hoping that he'll make it to the final.

It comes after Sharon told Louis that she had missed out on doing The Masked Singer in the US because she had committed to a new series of The X Factor with Simon, which never went ahead. Sharing what happened, she told Louis last week: "I missed a huge gig. That's why I was furious. I went mad when they told me and then he called me."

In her angry rant, she said she wouldn't work with Simon again for "all the money in the world" and also made a swipe at her former friend for "wearing the same thing for three decades" as she fumed over what he had done to her career.

Sharon had previously described Simon as "very closed off" and said he rarely asked how she was. She previously revealed: "He would not call Louis or I. He is very, what’s the word? Snotty. Simon just is. He has his little posse around him, the same people he’s had for years, and that’s who he talks to.

"He’s not really one of these guys who’ll be like, 'Hey great. You’ve given us a call. How are you doing? Yada, yada, yada. He’s not one of those ‘checking in’ on friends to see if you’re doing OK. We were, in the beginning, the three of us, really close friends. But then he kind of left our group and went on. But no, he’s weird as far as friends go. Very, very closed off."

Louis also let rip at his former boss. In a pre-show interview, when asked if he spoke to Simon before joining the show, he said: "No, it’s all about him. Simon lives in this bubble and it’s all about him. It’s fine. I accept that. That’s just the way he is. We spoke a few months ago, I just rang him to have a chat and he was the same as ever. I love him.

"I think the world of him, I really do. I know his faults. I know he’s not perfect. He wears stupid clothes, stupid haircut, new faces ... his face has changed so much. He brings energy to a room, brings something, I don’t know what it is. It’s not like he’s Einstein or anything. But he’s good. He’s good with music and stuff."
