Aerialist Aidan Bryant was crowned the America's Got Talent All Stars winner on Monday after wowing the super fans tasked with judging the contest.

A selection of the best ever acts to grace the competition's stage over the years battled it out for the title of ultimate champion in front of judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum.

And Aidan got the all-important nod to take home the crown - and $500k - ahead of a total of 60 rivals as the eight-week-long first-ever All Stars series came to an end.

As the top five threw up a number of surprises, viewers watched on as Aidan McCann look gutted as he finished fifth. Fourth place went to Ana-Maria Mārgean, much to the gasps of the crowd, before Little Balance Kids were named in third.

The end of the show revealed the big win as confetti rained down and the crowd cheered their victor Aidan who pipped Avery to the win.

The show saw the 11 finalists - musical prodigy Kodi Lee, singer Tom Ball, ventriloquist Ana-Maria Mārgean, magician Aidan McCan, aerialists Power Duo, comedian Mike E. Winfield, saxophonist Avery Dixon, the Detroit Youth Choir, aerialist Aidan Bryant, dancing light show Light Balance Kids, and acrobats The Bello Sisters - perform their final stunning displays a week earlier.

Fast forward a week and they all took to the stage for their own special performances before the winner was announced.

Among the acts to wow the crowds on the nigth, self-taught Aidan starred in the skies as Queen's Adam Lambert belted out an impressive number.

While Tom Ball then received a standing ovation while he performed alongside the Voices of Hope Choir, Kodi and Light Balance Kids teamed up to put on a joyous display, getting the judges back on the feet with their upbeat performance of Avicii's Wake Me Up.

Kodi even took a brief moment to join the dancers during their routine and was seen bursting with joy as the crowd gave them rapturous applause.

Elsewhere, comedian Mike put a skit together as he studied host Terry Crews and joked he was hoping to mimic the star if he failed to get the nod by the super fans.

The action-packed finale continued to entertain fans throughout the two-hour schedule, with ventriloquist Terry Fator gushing over Ana-Maria, saying the teen has a bright future ahead following their Elvis-style performance.

Another link-up saw Avery Dixon take to the stage with legendary producer Babyface for a groovy performance of Bobby Brown’s 1988 hit “Every Little Step.” The saxophonist said after his performance his "life can't get any better".

And fans were also treated to a joint performance by Weezer and the Detroit Youth Choice as they belted out former classic Beverly Hills before Irish youngster Aidan was joined by Mat Franco.
