A Lotto winner who landed a massive £148million jackpot has kicked her husband out after he “used her as a cash machine”, it has been reported.

Gillian and Adrian Bayford won the huge amount in 2012 but the situation soon turned sour as they split just 15 months later. She married Brian Deans five years ago but has now kicked him out too as he “threw money left, right and centre” on expensive cars and holidays, as well as trips for his friends, it has been reported.

A source said she gave him a monthly allowance but he would come back asking for thousands of pounds more before she reportedly kicked him out of her home in Scotland. They told the Sun: “Brian saw Gillian as a cash machine, nothing more. She kept throwing money at him to try to make the marriage work.

“She’d think nothing of giving £20,000 if he asked for it but no amount was ever enough and he wanted more and more.

“She probably got out in the nick of time. If they had kept going the way they were they could have ended up skint.”

Deans was previously jailed for six months with a friend when they conned £13,500 from Tesco by putting through fake customer refunds. Last year Gillian said how no longer speaks to members of her family despite giving them £20 million and “bailing them out of every debt”.

She claimed she paid off £700,000 debts her father and brother owed but said back in 2016 while the money was “supposed to make everyone happy” it had “made them demanding and greedy”. Gillian also alleged her dad has tried to take control of the money she won despite her helping them out of financial problems with her parents living in a caravan when she won the .

Gillian, who now lives in Dundee, said: “They have lost touch with where they’ve come from. They’re rubbing people’s noses in it by flashing their cash, which I think is downright nasty.” She said that her brother now has a £288,000 home and drives an Audi but got married without even telling her.

“I can hold my head up because I know I’ve taken them out of a situation,” she said. “They brought our name into disrespect in the village and we had people threatening to torch the family house. My dad and brother built up one company after another and then closed them down. I’ve bailed them out of every debt.”
