As a former contestant on Celebrity Big Brother, Jess Impiazzi is fully equipped to know what it takes to be locked in the iconic house with a host of cameras following your every move.

So it comes as no surprise that the 34-year-old TV personality wasted no time in sharing her opinions on this year's contestants - namely Kate Middleton's uncle Gary Goldsmith. With just hours to go until the ITV show's first eviction, Jess revealed that Gary is clearly a "fish out of water" and should be the first to be evicted. During last night's episode, viewers saw Sharon Osbourne nominate Gary to leave the show after five days.

Jess said: "I agree with what Sharon said with her reasonings with nominating Gary, in the sense that he’s a fish out of water and he’s not from that world. He also said that himself in fairness – he’s a businessman and it just so happens that his niece is going to be the Queen one day! When you have to make a decision and you don’t know anyone it’s very difficult, so you have to go for whoever you can."

Jess joined the 2018 line-up of the show which was on Channel 5 back then and managed to land fourth place. She went on to say: "If he says himself that he’s a fish out of water then it makes sense for him to be nominated. I think it’s quite difficult for him because he’s not been around cameras before, whereas all of the other contestants have in their career."

She explained: "The reason a lot of them are there is because they’ve been filming for so long, so they just get used to it and carry on. If he’s not accustomed to that then he’s going to be a lot more conscious of what he’s doing and what he’s saying."

In a chat with Heart Bingo, she continued: "I had the impression before the show that he was going to be the rogue uncle that was going to cause a lot of trouble for the family and I didn’t like that because I’m very much into my loyalties. However, he hasn’t necessarily been doing that and he handled the questions about whether Kate Middleton is okay quite well, but him going in there is always going to increase speculation about the Royal Family in any case."

And she has already predicted who she thinks will go far in the competition and who will be crowned winner of the rebooted show hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best. Despite not watching Ekin-Su on Love Island, Jess believes the reality TV star is coming across well with viewers as she's allowing herself to be vulnerable.

Jess continued: "I didn’t watch her on Love Island, but she’s the type of person who you only see in the media because of their relationships and not for who they are as a person, but I think she’s got a lot more depth to her than what we’ve seen before. She’ll be a strong contender too."

She added: "I think it was nice to hear her be open about her time on Love Island. These people who go on these shows do get looked up to and if you don’t open up, a lot of youngers will look at you and just think, ‘they’re fine’, whereas I think you can relate to people more when you be yourself."

"I’m not saying you have to overshare everything like I do every time, but it’s good to see humans in people that you usually only see through a screen", she explained. Meanwhile, she believes that Louis Walsh who is best known for his stint on X Factor, could scoop the coveted title of winner. "I still think Louis will win it – I just love him and think he’s hilarious. You never know what’s going to go on in that place and it’s always difficult to call, but I reckon he’s got the best chance", she added.
