Meghan Markle 'led Harry into darkness' telling him Royal Family are against him
Meghan Markle has been accused of manipulating Prince Harry against the Royal Family amid their years-long feud.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as senior working royals back in 2020 and have since issued a number of attacks against The Firm. Meghan has claimed she was "silenced" by the Royal Family, while Harry has hit out at his brother Prince William and father King Charles.
Royal expert Tom Quinn believes Harry's relationship with his family worsened because of Meghan. He told The Mirror: "Harry has always known what his brother was like – a bit short-tempered, inclined to have the occasional tantrum and so on – so he was used to that. The problem is that Meghan persuaded Harry that the family were always doing him down. The idea had never crossed Harry's mind before he met Meghan."

During the bombshell chat, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made some shocking allegations about their time in the Royal Family. They claimed conversations had been had about how dark Prince Archie's skin might have been when he was born, while Meghan accused the Princess of Wales of making her cry just days before her wedding.

A brief statement from Queen Elizabeth II said: "The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan."
Buckingham Palace then added: "The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. Whilst some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members."
It's since been claimed Princess Kate pushed for the line "some recollections may vary" to be included in the statement. A source told royal author Valentine Low the Royal Family were planning to release a "milder" version of the statement.
In his book, Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown, Valentine said a source told him: "It was Kate who clearly made the point, 'History will judge this statement and unless this phrase or a phrase like it is included, everything that they have said will be taken as true'."
