Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a trip down memory lane as they revisited a restaurant linked to where they had their very first date.
The Sussexes were spotted squeezing in a sentimental date night ahead of Meghan’s International Women’s Day panel appearance later today. The 42-year-old Duchess is due to speak at the SXSW Conference in Texas on Friday, and the couple took the opportunity to pay a visit to the exclusive members club, which is linked to where they first laid eyes on each other.
Back in 2016, Prince Harry famously arrived half an hour late (“red-cheeked, puffing, sweating”, as he described in Spare) to the couple’s first date at London’s own Soho House. The now-married parents of two paid a nostalgic visit to the Austin branch of the venue on Thursday night. The 39-year-old Prince was seen looking far more laid back, enjoying the lively ambience of the club (which costs members a whopping $2,652 - or £2,066 - a year), lapping up its luxurious atmosphere.

The royal couple will have felt at ease at the club, which has a “selective” membership process and a strict no-photos policy to ensure the privacy of its guests. Marketed specifically towards people with a “creative soul”, the sleek Texas venue is decorated with beautiful artwork and vintage furniture. The spot also boasts a stunning rooftop pool, a screening room and incredible views of the Austin skyline.

If visitors wish to stay overnight, they have 46 luxuriously decorated rooms to choose from. Each room boasts marble stone ensuite bathrooms, linen curtains and modern Spanish-style furnishings. The beautiful interior costs a pretty penny - with a one-night stay in the smallest room costing $505 (£393). On the even more expensive end, a stay in the most superior room will set you back $820 (£639).
