Anthony Joshua's net worth could rise to almost £180million tonight when he earns more than £30m for fighting Francis Ngannou.

Former two-time unified heavyweight world champion 'AJ' is back in action against ex-UFC champion Ngannou tonight at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh. A win for Joshua would earn him a shot at the undisputed world titles, which Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are fighting for on May 18.

Joshua has earned some massive paydays throughout his boxing career, including £33m when he failed to win his heavyweight world titles back against Oleksandr Usyk last year. The Brit will earn just slightly less than that tonight for fighting Ngannou, according to Sport Business Journal.

'AJ' earned £10m for his win against Jermaine Franklin last year and around the same sum for knocking out Robert Helenius in August. He closed out the year with a stunning performance against Otto Wallin, also earning around £10m for that fight. Joshua was set for an illustrious two-fight deal against Deontay Wilder, but the American lost to Joseph Parker on the undercard.

Joshua is refusing to look past Ngannou as he said of the fight: "All will be revealed, straight up war and relentlessness. That's what everyone is here for, a good fight. We're not looking past this fight, this is my main focus. The incentives are just to win, to focus on my gameplan. That's what I have to do."

Ngannou made just £440,000 for his final UFC world title but parted ways with the promotion last January in a bitter contract dispute. The 37-year-old's gamble paid off as he made a massive £10million for fighting heavyweight champion Fury and is set to earn £16million tonight against Joshua.

“I really think I haven’t shocked the world. I trust the process, I trust my team and the work we are putting in. It is going to pay off. Everything is a clue, every space where there is an opening, I am going to hit. I am not going to leave any stone unturned or any opportunity unexplored," he said.
