Sharon Osbourne calls Adele 'fake' in savage jibe on Celebrity Big Brother

Celebrity Big Brother star Sharon Osbourne has made a savage jibe at Adele.

However, it seems as though the red flamed haired star, 71, was less than willing to support the global singer as she labelled her "fake", while on the reality TV show. In a scene shown on tonight's episode of Big Brother Late and Live [March 7], Sharon is seen making the disparaging statement, where she said: "I think that she plays the 'oh I'm so English and it's like cut the s**t, you don't talk like that anymore, just be true to who you are. But she does all this English...."

But this is not the first time that Sharon has taken a swipe at British stars who have jumped across the pond. Earlier this month, Sharon branded James Corden as a "name dropper" in a late night rant. However, the pair were once tight friends as in 2018, Sharon posted a snap of them together. She even called him her "English buddy."

But things clearly took a dark turn with their relationship as she said on the ITV show: "I tell you who does that, James Corden. He s that all the time. I go to him: 'I really like your shoes' and he goes 'Stella McCartney'.

She added: "I didn't ask you who made them - I just said I like your shoes. He constantly and constantly throws out names. When he got to America, he played the LA game really well. [Kissing all the right people]."

But Sharon is not the first person to call James out on his need for a link for a celebrity connection - so too did Mel B, from the Spice Girls. The singer and TV personality labelled the star as a "di**head" she has ever met in 2022.

While on the Big Narstie show she said: "I think you always have to be nice to the people that you work with whether it be production, camera guys, sound, lighting - we all work for the same thing. So you should always be nice and he hasn’t been very nice." While on the Joe Lycett show this week, the comedian asked which of the iconic 90s girl band made the remark about James. Mel proudly threw her arm in the air and declared: "Me!"

The comedian was widely criticised after he was banned from New York eatery Balthazar amid claims he had been "nasty" to waiting staff. The Gavin and Stacey writer was called a "gifted comedian" but a "cretin of a man" in a furious Instagram post, shared by owner and food mogul Keith McNally. Corden apologised for the matter and his ban was lifted.
