Good Morning Britain could lose another regular face in the coming weeks.

Regular broadcaster Richard Arnold has hinted that he could be set to walk away from the ITV breakfast programme after receiving an offer from popstar Jason Derulo. During Thursday's instalment of the ITV programme, the entertainment broadcaster was at London's O2 Arena to interview the Talk Dirty hitmaker about his upcoming UK tour and Las Vegas residency.

But Richard admitted that his days of broadcasting are currently limited as he is set to take on a new challenge – joining the singer during his upcoming residency. Richard's cryptic comments come after previous host Ben Shephard left the programme to become the new face of This Morning.

Richard, 54, also disclosed his previous X-rated nickname while working on TV soaps, which left Jason extremely amused. The presenter told Jason, 34, that should he need him, he would happily be on hand to jet to Sin City to play the triangle on stage for him.

"Let's talk Vegas," said Richard, before Jason opened up about his "dreams" of landing a gig in the historic Nevada city, which he stated was a "legendary moment," adding that his shows in Vegas will be "double" musical theatre. "Can I play the triangle? And can I wear feathers?" asked Richard.

"100 per cent you can play the triangle," quipped Jason before Richard went on to say: "I'm serious Jason, I need the work, I can't keep up this breakfast gig forever, I need a late night out every now and then!" During the chat, Jason revealed to Richard that he was still deciding whether he should hit the road before finalising his plans. "I thought the main thing, touring is not human," he said, adding: "It can be a little brutal but the reward is just like no other. It's my favourite thing in the world when somebody comes to me like 'I proposed to my wife using marry me,' or 'Ridin' Solo got me through my break up'."

But when Jason opened up about his new business venture, Rocket Carwash, which he is hoping to expand outside of America, Richard commented: "This is fantastic because my job used to be reviewing soap operas, so they would call me Soapy Dick. So we could start a Soapy Dick carwash. Jason, I need the work mate. I'm offering to play triangle in Vegas with you!"

Richard's plea for work comes days after he revealed ITV bosses had approached him to appear on Celebrity Big Brother. Richard told Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley: "There was a conversation, a letter, yes, an approach!" with host Richard Madeley responding: "Why didn't you do it?" as the studio played a hilarious kerching sound effect. Susanna, 53, then quipped: "They couldn't afford you!"
