Big Brother star Lisa Appleton's huge career change a decade after being on show
It's been more than a decade since Lisa Appleton rose to fame when she was a housemate on Big Brother, with her having pursued various opportunities in the years since.
The reality TV star, now 55, appeared on the ninth series of the show, which was broadcast in 2008. Lisa was evicted from the house a week before the final and has remained in the spotlight following her stint on the Channel 4 show.
Although she's been on various shows over the years, she's also worked outside of the industry. Lisa took on a job as a delivery driver during the Covid pandemic. She shared last year that it was a way to "boost" her income after she had some of her projects cancelled due to lockdown.
She later told Closer magazine that she was "rained on all day" during the role and that her "stress levels" increased, with her suggesting that dealing with customers not being at home presented challenges. It was reported in August last year that she had quit the job after a few weeks in the role.
The former housemate - who released her own cookbook in 2020 - has promoted various recent projects on social media. It includes her having landed a presenting role as well as providing "racy" content on a subscription site.

She's now an OnlyFans content creator and has narrated a true crime docuseries in recent years (MsLisaAppleton/Twitter)Lisa is credited as a co-host on the Miami Fox Streaming true crime docuseries Hollywood Files. She's listed as a narrator alongside author Bryn Curt James Hammond. Two episodes have been released by the brand so far, with them understood to have been released back in 2022.
The reality TV star currently shares content on subscription platform OnlyFans, teasing on social media recently that she uploads "exclusive racy content". Her page suggests that she offers a "private collection of glamorous photos and videos" to subscribers, as well as offering requests for personal content.
Additionally, Lisa has told fans that she is also providing commentary on Celebrity Big Brother following its return to our screens earlier this week. She issued a message about her coverage on Instagram just a couple of days ago.
Ahead of the launch, she wrote in a post on the platform just last week: "Don't forget to tune into The Ian Riches Radio Show Thursday 5pm to 7pm #exclusive on [Apple Radio] for my #official correspondence for #cbbuk."
Celebrity Big Brother returned for its revival on ITV this week, with the live launch having aired on Monday night. The housemates include Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Dragons' Den star Levi Roots, Kate Middleton's uncle Gary Goldsmith and former This Morning presenter Fern Britton.
