Viewers of Sort Your Life Out were left horrified by the messy and cluttered home of one young family on the show.

The BBC One programme, hosted by Stacey Solomon, came to help the Fountains tidy up their unruly property after things quickly got on top of them, and soon, clutter and clothes seemed to overtake their family home.

As soon as TV host Stacey, 34, opened the door to the home after introducing the Fountain family to viewers, she gasped as stepped inside the messy chaos. A visibly shocked Stacey gasped: "Oh my god, I can't actually open it. You can't get through this door. This has never happened."

Stacey and her team of experts were then forced to use the back door entrance due to the fact that the piles of clothes, books, and shoes, were cluttering the front entrance. Once inside, they showed viewers around the home which had piles and piles of boxes and papers.

This led to concern amongst viewers who said that the property was no place for children to call home. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, eagle-eyed viewers of the BBC One show shared their reactions to the 'worst house ever' to appear on the series.

Others insisted that the young children in the house had more common sense than their parents for wanting a clean and organized place to live. Elsewhere, more congratulated Stacey and her crew for making the messy property a home again.

"Sorry but no excuses to live like this.. lazy is as lazy does! Lovely kids can now have their mates over.. well done," one viewer complained.

While another said: "I really can't believe that young, fit and healthy people could let their home get into such a disgusting state! The children are the only ones with any common sense."

"Felt sorry for the children to have to live like that," another viewer tweeted. However, another sympathetic viewer pointed out that hoarding is a common problem and it's tough to keep on top of when trying to juggle life. "People seem to be forgetting that life is tough. Maybe this couple just couldn't bring themselves to start. It can so easily happen. Well done to Stacey for not judging."

"Stacey has made it a gorgeous home again. So happy for the parents and these kids who can now invite their friends over. Lovely family," someone else enthused.

After moving all their belonging to a warehouse to show just how much clutter they had, Stacey's team gave the Fountain home a complete makeover and they were left in tears after the big reveal.
