A man has left supermarket shoppers stunned as he cleared the shelves of chocolate to make a 'lovely' profit.

As the cost of living crisis rumbles on, Brits are always looking for creative ways to make some extra cash, but some are more divisve than others.

Savvy shopper Sam managed to clear the shelves in Farmfoods of a delicious sweet treat to sell them on for profit via Amazon's FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon) scheme.

But he's left shoppers raging, with one even claiming his child was "in tears" after the entrepeneur left the store with a whole pallet's worth of Cadbury chocolate Flakes, leaving the shelves empty.

Amazon seller Sam makes cash by hunting out cheap goods to make a profit on, and reckons he could make around £200 n profit for the cheap chocolate treats. The young man took to TikTok to share the moment he secured the huge haul and described it as a "pallet of profit". He added: "Lovely palette secured from Farmfoods today."

He then videoed his car - packed full of the boxes of Flakes and explained: "Gotta load all of it into the car - filled to the brim full of profit, it just about fit."

Getting to work, Sam added: "Gonna unload all of that, get it all prepped. We're gonna have to print a few labels for these and prep these units. Right, let's get it on a palette, let's wrap it up and give it to the delivery man who's gonna take that to Amazon for me." Discussing the nitty-gritty of how much he could make, Sam explained: "The ROI [return on investment] is a bit low on these - it's 26% but it does sell very fast."

Despite this, he shared they will be "gone in a week" but it wasn't an easy ride for Sam. "This was quite a lot of work, to be honest, I had to go get all the units, build a pallet, ship it off, etcetera," he said, adding, "Couple hundred-pound profit. It is worth it, only took a few hours to be fair.

"It was £40 to send the lot which worked out to about 20p per unit. Shipping in pallets is actually quite cost-efficient. I can put 500 units on a pallet. The cost is gonna be very minimal per unit cost."

He also praised Farmfoods in the video, claiming they sent him an email which helped him order the whole pallet. The entrepeneur urged TikTok viewers to "stop thinking and start doing" but people fumed when they saw his video and slammed him for buying the lot.

One TikToker commented: "And this is why everything is expensive all the time because when something is cheap someone tries and make a quick buck," while another added: "Nice one mate. my daughter crying now because she couldn't get any flakes from Farmfoods."
