Kerry Katona issues Gary Goldsmith warning about royal family chat
Kerry Katona has warned Gary Goldsmith to watch his mouth while he's on Celebrity Big Brother.
The uncle of Kate Middleton, 58, made his debut on the ITV reality show on Monday and has divided fans with his appearance. Many felt the uncle of the future Queen shouldn't have gone in the house, particularly in light of Kate's recent surgery - and Kerry, 43, agrees.
Speaking about the show, in which Gary is currently odds-on favourite to be booted off first, she said: "I feel really bad. The royals have had a really rubbish time of it lately and I feel that putting somebody like Uncle Gaz in there is really not going to help matters. I mean, especially what's going on with Kate and King Charles. Kate is off the face of the earth. She clearly can't be watching the show. Obviously, she should probably sit down on the sofa and watch it through her hands.”

Admitting 'no-one knew what he was going to say', she said: "I don't like judging people. I've never met him…so hopefully this will give us a chance to get to know him and. As a public person, being nosy as I am, maybe tell us what the hell Kate's got." She added: “I think he's going to be probably straightaway one of the most unliked characters that are in there."
As Kate continues to recover from her abdominal surgery, Gary's popularity on Celebrity Big Brother is already lower than any of the other housemates, according to the bookies. The multi-millionaire businessman, who is the younger brother of Kate's mum, Carole, appears to be the nation’s least favourite CBB recruit, receiving the highest amount of negative social sentiment on X, formerly Twitter, with a whopping 51% of fans expressing their dislike. Gary is already at risk of eviction this week and is now a long shot at 14/1 to win the show, says BetVictor Casino.

When asked if his niece would be watching the show when he rocked up at the house last night, Gary told hosts Will Best and A.J Odudu: "If so it'll be behind the sofa!"
It comes as Kate continues her recovery from what Kensington Palace has called a 'planned surgery' which she underwent back in January. The Princess of Wales is not due to return to official duties until the Trooping the Colour on June 8, her first official royal duty to be since she underwent surgery, the Ministry of Defence has said.
There has been growing speculation online about her whereabouts and the details of her health condition, to which a palace spokesperson has reiterated they "made it clear in January the timelines of the princess' recovery and we’d only be providing significant updates. That guidance stands."
