BBC Gladiators Sabre star Sheli McCoy has best response to bodyshaming troll
Gladiators' Sabre, real name Sheli McCoy, hit back at a vile troll who made a comment about her body on her Instagram page.
The BBC star has been a huge hit on the rebooted show with fans rushing to her social media to get updates on her day-to-day life away from her time on TV and training. The star shares snaps and videos of her gruelling training sessions as well as her personal trainer career.
One troll decided it was a good idea to comment about the size of her body in a recent post. Over a picture of her incredible physique, she shared a screenshot of the comment which read: "Don't go too bulky," along with a fire emoji. She responded: "If I'm too big, you're too small. #WomenAreAthletesToo #UnapologeticallyAthletic"
The comment was seemingly in response to a video she posted about her incredible training routine. Her fans were quick to support her as she later shared a screenshot and told her followers: "Spread the word. The girls are HERE and they are going to smash every glass ceiling ever placed above athletic women. Take up space, be the athlete you dream of being and never ever let the 'Gazzas' of the world back there slow your roll. #LetsGoGirls."
On Monday, she shared a gorgeous mirror selfie and captioned the post: "Happy Monday to absolutely everyone, except gazza who doesn't want me too bulky.
