Health gurus say that simple 'anti-ageing' tricks could make you feel like you're 18 again.

Experts have explained their own biohacking routines that might help turn back the clock, just like tech millionaire Bryan Johnson, who is 46 years old. He's famous for his special anti-ageing way of life called 'Project Blueprint. Bryan is trying to make himself younger with this project and has spent a huge £1.5 million every year on it.

With Project Blueprint, he works hard to keep his body as young as an 18 year old's. Johnson shares that his doctors check 70 different parts of his body and then they work together to "maximally reverse the quantified biological age of each." He also said on his website: "We have measured over 15 organs and I've scored 507 age reversal points", reports Gloucestershire Live.

Even though he's really 46, he says his body's age is more like 36. Johnson doesn't stop there; he takes 111 different pills every day, eats 2,250 calories in just six hours, and even gets blood transfusions regularly. But it's not only him who's into biohacking. The fitness pros at SET FOR SET think that biohacking will be a big thing in 2024. So, they've looked closely at Johnson's food and daily habits to help others who want to try biohacking.

Ice cold plunge

Cold plunging is a part of cold-water therapy or cold-water immersion, where you dip yourself in chilly water. Experts at SET FOR SET suggest doing 11 minutes of this each week, split into three-minute sessions.

Research shows that the best temperature for cold plunges to help with muscle soreness is between 10 and 15C. This can also help reduce swelling, improve blood flow and help your body recover after exercise.

It's also been found to boost your immune system, improve sleep quality and help manage stress.

Getting enough sleep

If you're sleeping for about seven to nine hours each night, you'll help your muscles grow and repair, keep your brain sharp, improve your blood sugar levels and even live longer. To keep good sleep habits, try to wake up and go to bed at the same time every day, even on weekends when you might want to sleep in.

Regular sauna sessions

Saunas are great for your heart health. When your body works to cool itself down, it increases your heart rate, blood flow, and how much your heart pumps.

This can lower your blood pressure, which is good for your heart health and can help you live longer.

Experts suggest starting with short sauna sessions and gradually spending more time in there. For the best results from this biohack, aim for a temperature between 80-90C for 30 minutes at least three times a week.

Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)

If you're trying intermittent fasting for the first time, 14:10 and 12:12 are usually the best options because they're less strict about when you can eat. This means you fast for fourteen hours and eat for ten, or fast for twelve hours and eat for twelve.

Regular blood testing

Most people only have blood tests when they really need to, but biohacking means you get your blood checked a lot more often. This helps keep an eye on things like your blood sugar, calcium, cholesterol and other stuff that could show you're getting sick.

At the very least, experts say you should get your blood tested once a year so you can spot any problems or illnesses early.

Red Light Therapy (RLT)

Red light therapy (RLT) is a popular way to make your skin look and feel better. Experts say RLT also helps your muscles recover faster, and reduces pain and swelling.

Studies show RLT may also make your skin smoother and help with wrinkles and is known to help with acne scars, burns, and signs of sun damage. Professionals suggest trying red light therapy three times a week for 10 minutes each time for at least one month.
