Police hunting for a missing 15-year-old boy played "Eye of The Tiger" through a loudspeaker in the woods to help try and find the teen in a desperate attempt to "call" to him.

Sebastian Rogers, who has autism, disappeared on February 26 at his home in Hendersonville, Tennessee and there have no been sightings of the teenager since. The Summer County Sheriff's Office has desperately tried to find him by using drones, dogs, horses, boats, and helicopters.

Residents are being asked to inspect any creeks, streams, or bodies of water that may be on their property as police revealed they have searched Sebastian's home at least ten times. Police also revealed they've been playing the boy's favourite son a loudspeaker to try and find him.

Sebastian's family has declined to speak or share more details with the media about his disappearance but they released a statement through Tennessee Bureau of Investigations. They said: "Understandably, there is interest in hearing from friends and family to help provide more of a personal context about Sebastian.

"However, we have been requested by the family to let social media know that they are not in a position to speak to or be available to the media at this time."

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations confirmed the family is cooperating with officials in their search for the missing teenager. Residents are being asked to check CCTV security footage from February 25 and 26 with the teen last seen wearing a black jumper, black trousers, and glasses.

Investigators believe the boy may have travelled to Clarksville. Hundreds of volunteers have turned out to help find Sebastian with many experts in finding missing people.

“Yesterday, we had a group from East Tennessee come in and they’re mountainous experts and they do caves,” Ken Weidner, director of Sumner County Emergency Management Agency, told local Nexstar Media Group affiliate WKRN. “So, any cave that we’ve marked, we’ve had them in those caves.”

Members of the Tennessee National Guard have also been door-knocking on doors to help raise awareness of the missing boy's disappearance. Mr Weidner said: “One thing about Tennessee and the Southeast is that we’re always going to have people that want to help, and we’ve gotten calls from people across the state for people who want to come in and help us.

“The thing we got to do is be able to manage that. So, we track everybody that’s on the ground. It’s great to be able to call in specialized groups that do the things we can’t do. It’s really good.”

A minimum reward of £3,500 has been promised by an anonymous group of business owners in the area if any information provided to police helps locate missing Sebastian.
