Former Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing shared the strange request he received from one of his loyal fans.

The 35-year-old radio presenter took to his Instagram Stories to post a screenshot of a request he got recently where a fan put 'Feet pics' as the subject of the message. It read: "Dear Jamie, I hope this email finds you well. I was wondering if you could attach a few feet pics to this email (preferably sole pics but your whole body and face in it so I know it's you)."

"Maybe a video or two?" the random person asked before asking Jamie not to get 'freaked out' by the request. "I think you're very attractive and would love to see what they look like. Please don't be freaked out by this. I only ask as you're extremely attractive and have a brilliant accent. If you have any further questions please let me know

Jamie simply captioned the screenshot: "Oddly flattered."

It comes after the reality star, who has turned into a podcaster, was recently announced as the replacement for Jordan North on the BBC Radio 1 drivetime show from Monday. North, who began on Radio 1 around a decade ago, departed the 3.30pm to 6pm Monday to Thursday slot last month. Jamie, 35, recently told the Sunday Times it is a “misconception that I just swanned in here”.

He continued: “I’ve been trying to get this job for eight years, constantly grinding, constantly asking to do little slots. No one is given a job here because their mum or dad helped them into it. You have to earn your colours.”

Jamie has been presenting podcasts NewlyWeds, with his Made In Chelsea wife Sophie Habboo, and the BBC’s 6 Degrees From Jamie And Spencer, with Spencer Matthews. Matthews and Habboo also rose to fame on E4 reality show Made In Chelsea, which follows prosperous young people in West London.

He is a descendant of Sir Alexander Grant, 1st Baronet, the creator of the McVitie’s digestive biscuit. The star also launched his own confectionery company, Candy Kittens, in 2012, which specialises in vegan and vegetarian sweets. “I suppose what people see now is that I’m maybe not just a posh idiot,” he also told the newspaper. “After years of doing podcasting, the audience went, ‘Oh, hang on, we trust this person’.”

To people who think he will not last the year on Radio 1, the Oxford-born star said: “When you have doubters, that honestly lights a flame within me. If the hurdle I have to cross is that some people think I’m going to leave within a year, then great.”
