Dancing On Ice star faces axe as she's 'struggling to keep up'
Dancing On Ice star Amber Davies could be the next celebrity to be voted off the ITV show according to body language expert Darren Stanton.
Darren believes that unlike Adele Roberts, Miles Nazaire and Greg Rutherford, Amber, 27, is "struggling to keep up" with the demanding routines to ensure a place in the final. In a recent interview, Darren said: "Although she was very relieved to get the chance to skate this weekend, she was shocked when she was let through over Eddie. Deep down, I believe Amber is really struggling to keep up and I think she felt she was going to be going."
Speaking to Betfair Bingo, he added: "I could see her display expressions of fear throughout her routine, as well as the results. She lacks the advanced skills some of the other couples have at this stage. There’s also nervousness in her movements and she lacks self-belief. Amber’s progress has been quite turbulent. She’s had some really good weeks, but also some low points. I do believe she could be going next."
However, at the other end of the spectrum, Darren seems sure that Adele stands every chance of winning the ITV show as she, along with her professional skating partner Mark Hanretty, are the "tightest couple." He continued: "Adele and Mark are the tightest, most connected couple in the competition. I do believe Adele and Mark have what it takes to win. Their progress in the competition has been very steady and they’ve continuously improved their technicality week after week."
He went on to say: "Their rapport has been consistently strong. They show how in sync they are with each other when they move as one. There’s always a lot of reciprocal liking on show and none of it seems like a pretence. Nothing will get in the way of them proving their ability to keep developing and eventually make it until the end.”
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundariesHowever Miles and his professional skating partner Vanessa Bauer could follow in Amber's footsteps as they are "slipping behind." Darren said: "Miles and Vanessa have been a very strong pairing throughout the competition. Their chemistry has been infectious since they were first partnered up and it never seems to fade whatever comes their way."
He explained: "However, I do think they are slipping behind slightly. I can no longer see them being in the final, as I do believe Greg and Vanessa are a stronger couple at this point. Although Miles and Vanessa are doing everything they can, they are now reaching their abilities and they would have to do something unexpected and incredible to make it through to the final.”
Even if Miles doesn't make it to the final, it looks as though he's hoping to secure a romance with Vanessa.. Ahead of appearing on the show he told us: "I must admit, she's got a beautiful smile and she's super bubbly, but you can't run around and have fun. You've got to get the work done. And I think that's really good. And there's a good mix. We're having a good laugh. We're testing each other's boundaries and we're getting the work done. So yeah, I'm really happy."
