Kim Kardashian suffers embarrassing blunder as she flaunts curves for Balenciaga
Back in 2022, Kim Kardashian was forced to release a statement claiming that she was re-evaluating her working relationship with couture fashion brand, Balenciaga.
But fast-forward two years and it looks as though the reality TV star has decided to resume her association with the label - but drew attention at the brand's latest showcase for all the wrong reasons.
The 43-year-old mother-of-four posed for pictures at the Spanish label's fashion week show this weekend in a form-fitted backless lace dress but accentuated her famous curves. However Kim, appeared to have forgotte to remove the huge price tag which swung freely behind her as she lent back to pose for snaps.
Appearing confident with her hair pulled into a high ponytail, the second eldest daughter of Kris Jenner, was seemingly unaware of the mishap. Her association with the controversial brand comes after the fashion label caused a huge stir in 2022 following an advertising campaign that featured children posing with teddy bears that were wearing bondage gear.
At the time, a host of people across the world called for celebrities to boycott the brand over fears it was happy to exploit children. And on the back of the uproar, Kim was forced to release a statement. She said that she had waited to provide an opinion on the advertising campaign was "not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened."
Kim Kardashian weighs in on sister feud after Kourtney's sad 'outsider' claimsShe added: "The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society — period. I appreciate Balenciaga’s removal of the campaigns and apology. In speaking with them, I believe they understand the seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measures for this to never happen again."
She continued: "I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with — & the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children."
Kim famously wore a Balenciaga outfit to the 2021 Met Gala dressed head to toe in a full coverage black dress that covered her face. At the time, the brand issued a statement that read:"We sincerely apologize for any offense our holiday campaign may have caused. Our plush bear bags should not have been featured with children in this campaign. We have immediately removed the campaign from all platforms."
And photographer Gabriele Galimberti told CNN that the direction and shooting of the "Toy Stories" campaign was out of his hands. He claimed he was "not entitled in whatsoever manner to neither chose (sic) the products, nor the models, nor the combination of the same."
