Love Island's Marcel Somerville's wife break silence and admits cheating on star
Love Island and Blazing Squad star Marcel Somervile's wife has admitted cheating on him - after just over a year of marriage.
Rebecca Vierirax, who shares a son with the singer, took to Instagram to reveal she has made a 'huge mistake' that has 'embarrassed only her husband but herself and their families' in a grovelling public apology.
Earlier this week, the Mirror reported that Marcel had been devastated by the revelations and had moved out of their family home. Friends of the star said he was 'living a nightmare' and 'completely broken' by Rebecca's betrayal.
Speaking out to share her side today, a devastated Rebecca said: "By now most of you would have seen what's going on. I've made a huge mistake, I've embarrassed not only my husband but myself and both our families.
"My actions were foolish and have hurt so many people around us but most importantly my husband. I've said a lot of things that I shouldn't have and it was stupid of me so I won't sit here and justify my actions, those decisions should have never been made.

She then told her husband: "I love you beyond measure, with no doubts, with no question, you are my beginning and my end my forever love. I love you." Rebecca followed up her post with a close-up picture of their wedding rings, the couple have been married just over a year after tying the knot in August 2022.
The update follows those close to Love Island star Marcel revealing that the dad-of-one, 38, feels like he's living in a nightmare after discovering his wife's infidelity - describing the Blazing Squad legend as "completely broken" amid the breakdown of his marriage less than two years on from tying the knot.
Marcel and Rebecca married in a stunning ceremony in Portugal but just over a year later and Marcel has moved out of the family home to stay with friends.
The move was sparked by a wave of screenshots involving his wife and American singer named Slim Jxmmi being shared online. A woman known as KD, who is the mum of Slim's child, accused Rebecca of not being honest with Marcel - alleging Rebecca sent sexts to Slim - one half of hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd - and was "cheating on her husband".

The couple are parents to three-year-old son Roman (Instagram/marcel_rockyb)As KD's posts went viral on Instagram, a source close to Marcel told the Mirror on Monday [26th February]: "Marcel is absolutely devastated. Rebecca was his life and he'd changed so many things about his lifestyle to make her happy. Everything he did, everything he worked for was for his wife and his son."
"The poor guy feels like he's in a nightmare and he keeps hoping he'll wake up. For him to know that Rebecca was telling another man she loves him, and then spent Valentine's Day with him has completely broken him. He doesn't know what he's going to do now but he's moved out of the family home and is living with friends at the moment."
KD didn't hold back as she shared messages on her social media platforms that showed Rebecca having an alleged flirtation with the This Could Be Us singer. "Some men have to watch who they marry and lie down with too. Y'all marry and settle down for the money and stability," KD wrote on her Instagram Stories as she shared screenshots with her followers.
She went on the write: "Cheating on your husband with my son's dad is crazy...especially after being in my DMs trying to link with me and be cool. Nasty work." KD tagged both Rebecca and her husband Marcel into the savage posts before sharing some messages that appeared to show Rebecca and Jxmmi enjoying a flirty exchange, including an alleged nude photo Rebecca sent to the Black Beatles singer.

She told her Instagram followers: "no one can say these messages are fake." In the messages, someone named "My Baby [love heart emojis] Becca]" wrote: "I wanna see how you deal with me first. I always pull through when it comes to you. I got you every time."

Then KD posted: "mind you, this girl @rebeccavieirax was messaging me about a year ago telling me she was there for me and she was so sorry for what I was going through and that we had to link our kids. a few months later when me and him split, my sons dad told me she popped up on him at his London show and she was upset that he wasn't choosing her last may. mind you, she was like 3 months freshly married at the time. mad he wasn't choosing her." She added: "@marcel_rockyb I hope you signed a prenup."
KD showed more texts from the person she says is Rebecca to Slim, saying things like "a shower with you is what got us here in the first place" and "It's just the fact I still love you after all these years and I don't want to lose that." She went on to share a censored naked selfie and added: "Sending nudes while married is crazy. I can't get over this. A bird will always be a bird."
KD wrote over a screenshot of Rebecca's TikTok: "Her Valentine's Day with her husband. same week telling my sons dad he's all she thinks about. I m praying for you @marcel_rockyb. and @rebeccavicirax you're too pretty of a girl to go out like this. you could of saved your fake love and words of affirmation to me and I wouldn't be this upset."
The Shade Borough on Instagram shared KD's posts over the weekend, captioning the screenshots: "US artist #RaeSremmurd's Slim Jxmmi's baby mother, #KiaraDanielson, has taken to Instagram stories to publicly call out former Love Islander #MarcelSomerville's wife, #RebeccaVieira, for allegedly exchanging flirty texts with #SlimJxmmi. In her posts, Kiara [also shares] what seem to be iMessages between Rebecca and the rapper, including an alleged nude, with messages as recently as February 13. (SWIPE). As of now, neither Rebecca nor Marcel has issued a response to Kiara's allegations."
Rebecca and Marcel got married last August in a lavish wedding in Portugal, with celebrities like Love Island star Johnny Mitchell present to watch them tie the knot. They have a son named Roman who is two years old, and they got engaged at their son's gender reveal party in August 2020.
Before Rebecca, Marcel had been in a relationship with Gabby Allen, another star from Love Island 2017. They were among the fans' favourite couples in the villa, but sadly, they broke up after Marcel was unfaithful to the personal trainer during their vacation together in 2018.
