Ghost hunter spots 'little girl' in 'haunted' house used to film horror movie
A ghost hunter claims to have seen the ghostly figure of a 'little girl' lurking in the supposedly haunted house where the 2021 horror movie A Savannah Haunting was filmed. Kalani Smith, 24, from Nashville, Tennessee, says the team behind the movie invited him to investigate the set in Savannah, Georgia after filming wrapped up.
The scary movie follows the story of a grief-stricken family who moves to Savannah after their young daughter tragically drowns, hoping to move forward from the devastating incident. Unfortunately, once at their new home, the mother begins to experience eerie happenings and becomes convinced she's being haunted by her daughter's spirit.

Kalani, who spent four days camped out at the spooky property along with his wife, says he began to feel uneasy the second he stepped through the door.
According to Kalani: "The building has a variety of unique energy – you can definitely feel at times that something is watching you."

He felt uneasy the moment he walked through the door (Jam Press/@kalanighosthunter)Kalani managed to record a number of videos at the property, uploading these to TikTok. One of the clips left a number of followers chilled to the bone and has since clocked up more than 12.8 million views.

In the video in question, a white shape can be seen just behind a lamp. Kalani believes this to be a ghostly image of the 'side profile of a little girl'.
Kalani remarked: "Now if you've seen the movie, you know this is an integral part of the story."

A number of followers also felt convinced they could see something (Jam Press Vid/@kalanighosthunter)A number of followers were left shuddering at the footage, with one TikTok user commenting: "There's another face next to the lamp on the right".
Another agreed that it 'definitely looks like something trying to manifest itself', while a third swore they could see the likeness of an old lady'.
Others however had less supernatural explanations for the apparent apparition, which a fourth person put down to 'the reflection of the lamp in the window'.
A fifth argued: "That is dust that was reflected by light!"
More skeptical followers believed the image was just a reflection (Jam Press/@kalanighosthunter)Kalani, who believes this alleged sighting to be among the best he's ever captured, said: "We had a variety of different ghost hunting tools go off, but catching the apparition on camera and the camera being turned on were two of my best catches to date.
"Many people have reported strange experiences in the house even before knowing it was rumoured to be haunted. The claims of paranormal activity here were very high and I wanted to see it for myself."
He continued: "It has always been a home, but the land that it's on has had a dark past. I'm unsure of the original construction date, but the home was purchased and renovated in the 1970s by the current owners' father.
"A variety of people and investigators have said they believe a little girl haunts the building – she served as inspiration for parts of the movie."

McCullough, who directed A Savannah Haunting, didn't actually live in the house as a child. His parents were divorced and he mostly lived with his mum. At times when he stayed with his dad at the property, however, he apparently experienced a number of 'creepy' occurrences.
