The Galaxy S24 range may be on the top of every tech buyer's tongue since the recent January launch but there's another swanky new handset many tend to forget about......the Galaxy ZFlip5. Until now, Samsung has dropped the price to one of the cheapest since its launch.

Launched in summer last year the flippable handset, yes it flips out from a pocketable size, it was revealed alongside the brand's other movable phone the Galaxy ZFold5 which opens out to give users a tablet-like screen. The two devices grasped attention, not only for their high-spec designs but for an eye-watering price too - with the Galaxy ZFold5 for as much as £2,049.

This newly spotted deal will take £150 off making it one of the cheapest prices you can pay since its star-studded launch. The bigger Galaxy ZFold5 now starts at £1,599 (still a hefty amount in our opinion) and the smaller Galaxy ZFlip5 starts at a much cheaper £899.

The nifty Galaxy ZFlip5 can be used through its small 3.4-inch flex window - the closed cover screen- to take calls, read message notifications and listen to music, an ideal feature for those who use their phone a lot on the go as it's concise. Of course, it flips out into a bigger 6.7-inch screen.

Out of the two this is the one we'd steer eager mobile fans towards, mainly down to its cheaper discounted price, putting it on par with Samsung's more recent S24 price range. And Samsung's own site isn't the only retailer offering the deal.

Amazon shoppers can also make the most of the discount, grabbing the ZFlip5 device for the same £899 device, although this does come with a few catches. The first one being is you'll have to buy it outright compared to Samsung's £37.46 monthly option. Next up is perks, as Amazon doesn't offer the freebies that the flagship brand will give you.

Anyone who buys the device through the Samsung store will get a free 12-month subscription to Disney+ which in itself is a saving of more than £100 - compared to if you were to take out the £7.99 a month subscription yourself.
