Horror moment police officer and daughter killed in shootout with masked gunmen
An off duty police officer and his teenage daughter were killed in a shootout with several gunmen in Brazil with the horror moment caught on video.
Corporal Anderson de Oliveira’s car was surrounded by the gun-toting trio in Vila Medeiros, Sao Paulo, while he and his 19-year-old daughter Alycia Peroni Valentim were waiting for his wife. CCTV showed them approaching the vehicle and indicating the cop should stay in his vehicle.
He ignored their demands and got out of the car and drew his gun, prompting the three of them to open fire. Local media reported he and his daughter were caught in the crossfire and both later died from gunshot wounds.
Anderson de Oliveira Valentim was a corporal in the 3rd Company of the 7th Military Police Battalion. His daughter, Alycia Perroni Valentim, was a law student. The Military Police mourned Anderson's death, saying: "The police-military family regrets, with deep regret, the loss of our companion, after an attempted robbery.

Police have since tracked down the car used as a getaway vehicle and reportedly identified the three suspects through fingerprints and DNA. They were named by police as Douglas Henrique Pereira de Jesus, 30, Erivaldo Aparecido de Lima, 46 and 27-year-old Diego Damasceno dos Santos. A court has ordered their arrest. It was unknown if the suspects have since been seized.

The chilling footage shows one of the men lining up the victims against the wall in preparation for an execution-style shooting, while the other grabs a shotgun from a pickup truck. In a matter of seconds, the people who were enjoying their afternoon of pool playing were all dead on the ground.
The first man in a white T-shirt is shot at point-blank range while the other man joins in with his handgun. One woman is seen holding up her arms as the gunmen leave the scene of the massacre, it is understood only a few survived.
