Prince Harry's residency in the United States could be under threat by Donald Trump as he has "got it in for him", claims a royal commentator.

It comes after the former president of the USA appeared to threaten the Prince with deportation. He declared he "will not protect him" like Joe Biden, should he be re-elected as president of the United States. Trump also declared the Royal Family has been "too gracious" to Harry after "what he has done".

His remarks came just after Prince Harry appeared in court to answer questions over whether or not he had misrepresented his drug use, which he had admitted to in his book Spare, on his immigration documents to the US. Royal commentator Jennie Bond has said: “Donald Trump, I think most people would accept, is probably quite a vindictive man and he is a law unto himself, and he's made it very clear that he regards Harry and Meghan as being completely on their own if he becomes president.

"Thus far they've been somewhat, I suppose, protected by the Biden administration." She continued: "There is a group, a Conservative group who are trying to force the publication of the application that Harry filled in for his visa when he moved to America. The rules and laws on drug-taking are quite intense over there. And the question is, did Harry say, as he did in his book Spare, that he had taken quite a considerable number of drugs, did he say that on his visa application?"

"The Biden administration has protected him and said they don't see that this should be published," Bond said on GB News. "And also, rather remarkably, they don't actually see that, just because Harry said in his book he has taken all these drugs, that it isn't necessarily proof that he did, which is a bit odd really isn't it?"

She added: "But Trump has made a lot of quite unpleasant noises, saying that he’s on his own, and it's really quite threatening for Harry. It could threaten his residency in the United States." Jennie said the couple "would be seen as victims of Trump" as she added: "We will have to wait and see, but Trump has definitely got it in for them."

‌ Piers Morgan has also offered a warning to Prince Harry as he wrote in The Sun : "If I were Harry, I’d find these words very concerning because it might indeed soon be down to Trump, who can be a vengeful enemy." Piers added if "that nuclear option was pressed", the Duke would be "forced to leave his idyllic Californian mansion and his adoptive country". He said: "And knowing Trump as well as I do, his capacity for such acts of petty vengeance is unlimited." The Duke recently revealed that he has "considered" applying to become a citizen of the United States, in a rare televised chat with Good Morning America.
