There's an easy way to banish stubborn black mould which can leave your windows sparkling in one hour.

Nobody wants to deal with unsightly black mould in their homes, and it can be a painstaking task to try and remove. The pesky mildew can grow on and around windows when the cold air outside meets warm air inside, leading to a build-up of condensation.

If the condensation isn't dealt with quickly and wiped away, it can cause mould to grow, which in turn can lead to all different health issues. One savvy cleaning fan took to TikTok to share her "genius" way to remove mould within an hour and all you need are some cotton wool pads and a £1.49 product from Asda.

Cleaning fan Kiraa Louise, 23, shared to her followers online how she easily removes the mould in her home and claimed this way is her "favourite way of removing mould" and it's "amazing".

"I noticed that I've got so much mould growing around my window sill so I just wanted to show you my favourite way of getting rid of it," Kiraa said. She started by using a squeegee to take away all of the moisture around the window and then held up her favourite spray - the Astonish Mould & Mildew remover - and sprayed all over the mould patches.

Sharing how she uses the spray, she said: "This is my absolute favourite. What I then like to do is go in with cotton pads and just place them on top of the spray. This helps to keep in the moisture and makes the product work so much better. I'd say I probably left that for a good hour and then I'm wiping as I go, all the way down."

Happy with the results, she chimed: "And look at that - the mould is completely gone. It was a bit tricky for me doing it higher up because I'm so short - but hey, we got there in the end. I think the results are absolutely amazing." You can pick up the miracle spray for £1.49 from Asda, or £1.50 from Sainsbury's and Iceland.
