Taylor Swift's dad 'being nvestigated by police for allegedly assaulting pap'
Taylor Swift's father Scott Swift is reportedly being investigated by police for allegedly assaulting paparazzi in Sydney, Australia after they allegedly were aggressive towards a member of Taylor's staff.
The Grammy award-winning singer's father was allegedly in a physical confrontation with a 51-year-old photographer named Ben McDonald. According to reports from TMZ, Ben filed a complaint to the New South Wales Police Media stating there was an alleged assault between him and a 71-year-old man, believed to be Scott. The alleged incident took place at Sydney's North Shore at Neutral Bay Wharf around 2am on Tuesday when the singer's team was allegedly being threatened by paparazzi.
Taylor's representative recounted the incident and told the news outlet: "Two individuals were aggressively pushing their way towards Taylor, grabbing at her security personnel, and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water."

McDonald, who is a chief executive of Matrix Media Group, told DailyMail that the claims that he physically threatened a female staff member was "utter rubbish" and claimed the only woman involved in the incident was the pop singer. He told the outlet: "This is the sort of bulls**t I might expect. Which female was that? The only one there was Taylor." He added: "In 23 years of taking pictures, I have never seen anything like it. She got off the boat, she walked towards security guards who were shoving umbrellas in our faces."

Officials added that the alleged victim in the situation did not require any medical attention but McDonald claimed that he had "very sore chops" on the left side of his face.
Part of the incident was captured on camera, but it is difficult to make out exactly what happened due to the angle and flashing lights. The only moment clearly captured on video was of a group of people walking towards the yachts at night with one person - allegedly Taylor - seen hiding underneath a black umbrella until they approached the group of paparazzi and a scuffle began resulting in blurry footage.
