Stacey Solomon has shown off what she bought at a car boot sale over the weekend, revealing that she spent just over £11 on four items, including one that "made her day".

The TV presenter, 34 - who is known for sharing DIY tips on social media - headed to a car boot sale close to her home in Essex with some of her family on Sunday. She went on to post about the items that she had bought at the event.

Taking to her Instagram Story earlier, the Loose Women panelist shared that she had found four "really good" items for her home. They included one product for her daughters Rose, two, and Belle, one, that she tried out herself first.

Stacey gave her fans a glimpse of the items in a photo, which included their respective prices, but went through each one in a video uploaded to the platform. She revealed that the total cost of the haul had been £11.50 for them all.

First showcasing a woollen doorstop, she said in the video: "Welcome to my boot sale haul. I only bought four things but it was such a good haul cause they're four really, really good things. First of all, look at this doorstop. £2. It's nice and heavy. I just thought it was so cute and really pretty."

Stacey then unveiled a cloche, which can be used to cover food or plants. She said: "You can never have too many cloches, do you know what I mean? Especially when they're £4. So I got my little ball of wool doorstop [and] a cloche."

She continued by showing off a basket that had cost her £5 at the car boot sale. Stacey said in the video: "How pretty is this? This was a fiver but it is such a thick basket. They don't make baskets like this anymore. Such good quality."

Stacey added that her and son Rex, four, will use it for their vegetable patch in their garden. She said: "Me and Rex are gonna go big on our vegetable patch this year. We did well last year, but we're gonna make it even better this year and we can collect all our vegetables in this little basket."

Stacey posted a separate video to discuss the final item that she'd bought which was a majorette twirling baton. She said: "The last thing I bought, I'm sorry but I can't cope with it. A majorette's baton for babies. Look how small this is. Me and my sister used to do majorettes when we were little and we loved it so much. It's like baton twirling to music."

Her husband Joe Swash was heard asking: "Why's it such a small twirler?" Stacey said: "It's for the kids. It's for Rose and Belle." Joe appeared to respond: "Why don't you let them play with it? You ain't put it down since you bought it."

Continuing the video, Stacey said. "Imagine my girls twirling their batons in their little tutus. I can't. This made my day. It was like 50p from the lady at the boot sale. It's made my whole day. Oh, it's more dangerous than I remember."

Stacey later posted a photo of her youngest daughter Belle holding the baton. She wrote alongside it on the platform earlier this evening: "Omg. I can't cope. I'm gone. Future Majorette's world champion Belle Solomon-Swash."
