The 1% Club broke a show record tonight with an "impossible" question.

The Lee Mack hosted show was back this evening for another episode, which saw a new set of contestants compete to win the prize money and make it into the famous 1% Club. Eventually, one lady ended up winning the top prize and took home the total money, despite getting one of the questions wrong. A clever trick in the game saw the winner sail through to the penultimate question, which both her and the other final contestant got wrong. As a result, it meant that they could pick if they wanted to take their share of £10,000 - so £5,000 each - or if they wanted to take a risk and attempt the 1% question.

She decided to give it a go and whilst her co-star took the £5,000, the lady risked it all and eventually came out triumph, answering the 1% question and thus taking home a huge £96,000 to herself.

However, one question this series nearly had a third of the contestants out, when one single question saw 30 people crash out of the competition. Host Lee Mack insisted it was a show record, of how many went out in one round - but would you have got it right?

Back in 2023, a new series was confirmed for the show. Speaking about returning as host, comedian Lee Mack, who is known for making jokes with the show's contestants, shared: "Again I am delighted to cause household arguments, as kids mock their parents for being not as bright as them. But us grown-ups can stay out as late as we want, so we get the last laugh."

For those unsure about the answer, the answer is 15 because the question asks for the eyes to be counted. Many guessed 22 because that was how many eyes were in the question as well as the letter 'i'.
