Corrie's Katie McGlynn and TOWIE's Ricky Rayment loved-up on romantic night out

The romance between Coronation Street star Katie McGlynn and TOWIE star Ricky Rayment is blossoming as the couple looked loved-up when on a night out this week.

The pairing were dressed to impress as they had a romantic date at The Lowry Theatre in Manchester to see a musical. The 30-year-old Corrie star and reality star Ricky, 33, have been enjoying time together and they took in the sold-out show Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula The Sea Witch.

Katie, who played Sinead Tinker on the cobbles, was looking stylish in a grey ribbed jumper dress while Ricky chose a cream zip-up jumper, dark trousers and a wool button-down coat for the evening. They were both full of smiles as they were snapped making their way to the theatre.

Earlier this month, they were seen together enjoying a romantic date at Pircio restaurance in Manchester after they went Instagram official on Valentine's Day in a sweet post. They captioned a pic of them both with: "Every day is like Valentine's Day with you."

Katie and Ricky had previously been seen enjoying each other's company in Essex with onlookers telling The Sun that they "very much looking like girlfriend and boyfriend" and "holding hands". The media outlet went on to report that the couple have been dating for the past four months but having been keeping their romance under wraps.

The former Coronation Street star made no attempt to hide the sparkler on the fourth finger of her left hand as she and Ricky popped to the shops in matching tracksuits ahead of announcing their relationship. In pictures obtained by The Sun, Katie's new sparkler looked like it could be an engagement ring from her new man. However, her team quickly shut down rumours a wedding is being planning, with a spokesperson for Katie telling the publication: "Katie often wears rings on various fingers and moves her jewellery around."

They met in early October and have stayed chummy since then. A source spilled the beans: "Katie and Ricky are really loved up. They've been careful to keep things low key while they got to know each other. But they've got to the point where they don't care who sees them anymore."

Between 2012 to 2015, Ricky was a usual face on TOWIE. He previously dated former co-star Jess Wright and Geordie Shore star Marnie Simpson during his time on the ITVBe reality show. Katie is best known for playing Sinead Tinker on Coronation Street. She was on the ITV soap from 2013 to 2020 and left as part of a storyline where Sinead got cancer. She went on to appear on Strictly Come Dancing the following year.
