Full list of every flood warning in England as Brits face washout weekend
Several flood warnings have been issued across the country as Brits face a washout weekend, with heavy rain on the cards.
Currently, there are 62 flood warnings - meaning that flooding is expected - and 206 alerts - which means flooding is possible - around England. The Met Office and the Environment Agency said areas around the upper River Thames are at risk of flooding today.
They warned that local flooding from rivers and surface water is also possible across parts of southern England and the Midlands on Sunday and Monday. Land, roads, and some properties will flood and travel disruption is expected, they added.
Natural Resource Wales also issued one flood warning for the River Ritec at Tenby and six more flood alerts. The Met Office's forecast for this weekend says: "A mix of sunny spells and showers, although many of the showers fading away as we move into the afternoon. Temperatures around average for late February with mainly light winds.
"A cold start to Saturday, with some frost and patchy mist and fog in places. A few showers around, otherwise largely dry and bright. Breezy in the far southwest, light winds elsewhere."
Gales, snow and rain to batter country today with 80mph wind gustsFor Sunday and the beginning of next week it adds: "A band of rain likely to move across southern areas during Sunday, with northern areas likely dry. Many places dry on Monday before rain returns to the north during Tuesday."

It comes as downpours hit Britain this week, with huge parts of the country under a yellow weather warning. Next week is also expected to be rainy, according to the Met Office's long-range weather forecast from February 28 to March 8.
It reads: "Early rain across the south clearing with increasing sunny spells on Wednesday after any fog patches in central areas lift. Later in the day cloud and rain approach the far northwest before pushing across the UK on Thursday. This sets the scene for the following days as spells of rain are expected across all areas at times between brief settled spells, wettest overall in the west and northwest, where it will also sometimes be windy.
"Late in the period more settled conditions develop in the east as rain occasionally runs across western areas in a more southerly wind direction. Temperatures are most likely to be around or a little above average, though some short-lived colder interludes remain likely."
