Harry Styles becomes uncle as his sister Gemma shares sweet snaps of newborn baby

Harry Styles is officially an uncle after his sister Gemma welcomed a baby daughter.

The Watermelon Sugar singer's sister took to her social media page to share a few cute pictures of her and her newborn baby. One photo had her looking at the camera while she cradled her sleeping baby. Another showed her partner Michal carrying their baby while they enjoyed a walk in the park.

"Hello from maternity leave! Took some time off to ensure the safe arrival of our baby girl, who is adored by her whole family," she wrote to her followers. "I know that this news can be difficult for many people and I’m sending you lots of love." Her post racked up over half a million likes in a matter of hours.

Fans were excited about Harry becoming an uncle and rushed to the comment section to congratulate the new mum. One user said: "My uncle is Harry Styles yeah," while one happy user posted: "HARRY IS A GIRL UNCLE!! *let that sit* OH MY GOD!! BABYGIRL!!!!" along with a heart emoji.

Some fans were shocked about her pregnancy and questioned when she was pregnant. One user said: "She was pregnant? OMG congrats Gemma'... " while another posted: "I was not prepared for this post." Josh Devine, One Direction's former live drummer, posted: "Aw congrats Gemma! So stoked for you guys. What a journey ahead!!"

Gemma and her partner Michal have been an item for nine years. When Harry was still in One Direction, Gemma took Michael to one of their concerts. Meanwhile, Harry has been in a relationship with Bones And All actress Taylor Russell. It isn't known how the talented actress, whose breakout role was in Netflix's Lost In Space, met singer Harry, 30, but the couple run in similar showbiz circles. The pair were first pictured together by an eagle-eyed fan at London's White Cube art gallery last June.

Taylor was later spotted watching Harry's concerts in Vienna and Reggio Emilia, Italy from the side of the stage. And the fledgling couple even found time to enjoy some downtime together during his Love On Tour, sunning themselves by the rooftop pool at Soho House Barcelona.

Last month, Harry and Taylor holidayed off the coast of Caribbean island Anguilla with pal Corden, staying on a luxury yacht. Back in London, in a display of everyday domesticity, Canadian star Taylor and her Grammy-winning beau were pictured shopping for dog food.
