Chloe Madeley's hidden fear over ex-husband James Haskell's CBB stint
Chloe Madeley is said to be anxious about her ex-husband James Haskell's spilling the beans on their relationship live on air, amid rumours the star is tipped to appear on Celebrity Big Brother.
The rugby star, 38, is no stranger to our screens, having previously appeared on ITV's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here back in 2019 and more recently, fronted a reality show with ex Chloe, with whom he shares 18-month old daughter Bodhi with, on ITV last year. It gave fans a glimpse into their family life behind closed doors as the former couple adjusted to life as new parents.
Viewers turned in as Chloe and James lifted the lid on their realistic routines and shared the highs and lows of married life. While James may have agreed to participate in the show, fans will need to wait until the launch episode to find out if this is the case. The revamped celebrity version will air on Monday 4th March at 9pm on ITV1, with a whole new batch of famous faces entering the iconic Big Brother House.
Previously on the series viewers have seen stars opening up about their relationships and life outside of the spotlight. However, Chloe Madeley hopes that her ex-husband James remains' tight-lipped' on their private affairs and avoids discussing their relationship on national TV.
A source told OK Magazine: "Chloe knows what he’s like and how loose-lipped he can be, and for that reason she is very worried.
TOWIE's Chloe Brockett makes cheeky dig at Saffron Lempriere during filmingThey added: "She’s urged him to think before he speaks, especially when it comes to their relationship. Chloe hopes James will follow her advice and keep some things to himself."
Chloe and James went their separate ways in September after five years of marriage. While the pair insisted in their joint statement that they would not be talking about their marriage breakdown, James risked the wrath of Chloe following comments he made about their divorce during a live show and claimed his wife was unreasonable, critical, and sensitive. The rugby star also claimed that he was about to 'lose half of his money' due to their divorce settlement.
He said: "I need the cash because I am about to lose half of it. It's true. That is if she (Chloe) can find it. I always forget where I put it - the Cayman Islands, Switzerland. No, at the moment I haven't got a pot to p**s in."
After seven years off air, the star-studded version of the iconic reality series will return to our screens on ITV1 and ITVX in a matter of weeks, thanks to the broadcaster rebooting the original format last year. Last week, the Mirror exclusively revealed that Love Island star Ekin-Su Culculoglu is poised to enter into the Celebrity Big Brother house after splitting with Davide Sanclimenti. She is reportedly set to join Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas, ex-TOWIE star Joey Essex and former X Factor judge Louis Walsh.
