If you love football but hate not being able to keep up to date with all of the on-field action, Apple may have the answer. The US technology giant has just revealed an all-new iPhone app called Apple Sports which it hopes will make viewing all the latest scores and stats a lot more simple.

It's available from today on Apple's App Store and once downloaded you'll be able see live data on goals, yellow cards, betting odds, play-by-play details and team lineups. There's also easy access to live league tables making it super simple to check how rivals are doing and how well your favourite team is performing.

Apple says it's made the Sports app super simple to use and there won't be any annoying adverts or pop-up windows cluttering things up. There are also easy ways to add your favourite team and leagues with upcoming games and goals all displayed on the screen.

At launch, Apple Sports will offer live updates from the Premier League along with the German Bundesliga, Spain's LaLiga, and Itlay's Serie A. More leagues are expected to be added in the future.

Don't panic if football isn't your favourite. Apple Sports is also offering live data from America's MLS soccer, NBA and NCAA basketball as well as NHL American football.
