Ella Henderson enters Love Island All Stars villa in twist as winners announced
The Love Island: All Stars final will see a true superstar walk into the villa in the form of chart topping star Ella Henderson.
The 28-year-old former X Factor contestant performed for the finalists as the remaining couples waited to find out who the public had voted winners of the first ever season of the Love Island spin-off show. Anton Danyluk and Georgia Harrison, Callum Jones and Jess Gale, Josh Ritchie and Sophie Piper, Toby Aromolaran and Georgia Steel and Tom Clare and Molly Smith were the last couples standing - and one lucky pair would win £50,000.
But the Islanders are also treated to a money-can’t-buy experience as Ella was brought into the villa to perform for them. The finalists were treated to a VIP pool party as the final episode was filmed - which included the intimate performance.
Ella’s arrival is heralded when 26-year-old Georgia Steel received a text alerting her and the rest of the Islanders that a special performance was about to take place. Reading the text out loud, Georgia announced: “Finalists, get ready to make a splash as you’re invited to a VIP All Stars pool party #GlamAndGlisten #TooPoolForSchool.”
Ella is then shown strutting into the iconic house - wearing a striking pink and red outfit. The singer is beaming as she walked through the villa and out into the garden where she belted out her hits REACT, Ghost and new single Alibi.
Love Island's Haris spills on unaired row between Zara and TanyelThe contestants are thrilled to see the star waiting to perform for them and danced around as she sang. Ella mingles with the contestants and posed for selfies with them as she whipped out a phone and started snapping.
While Ella may have been performing on one of the biggest TV dating shows in the UK, she needs no help in finding a boyfriend as she is already proper loved up with hunky Olympian Jack Burnell. Earlier this month she made a gushing public declaration of love to the 30-year-old swimmer.
Sharing a string of snaps of them twirling around in a forest and on a beach, Ella wrote on Instagram: "To My Valentine… I’m so happy to have found my person … May I forever dance through life with you & all its adventures." She added a love note emoji and a smiling face emoji for good measure.
In January last year, Ella and Jack became engaged after he asked her for her hand in marriage. Thrilled that she said yes, Jack later shared photos of them kissing on Instagram along with a caption stating: “Words can not describe how proud I am of this incredibly talented, beautiful and all round shining star of a woman that I get to call my fiancée.”
The pair are in no rush to get married, however. Ella told Hits Radio last year: "Do you know what? We were both just like, let's not talk about planning it this year. I've got so much going on and he's so busy with work. So it's just like, let's not talk about it. Maybe 2025? I'm quite enjoying being engaged, I quite like it. It's a lovely period and I feel like, your wedding day is such a special moment, I kind of don't want it to happen too soon, because I've got nothing to look forward to!"
