Brit's heartbreaking Valentine's Day message before being killed in Thailand
A British tourist killed in a head-on collision with a truck in Thailand sent his wife a sweet Valentine’s Day message before his sudden death, it's been claimed.
The man was riding a scooter back from the beach on the island of Phuket in southern Thailand. He collided with a six-tonne Isuzu delivery truck, and the force of the impact threw his bike into the air and landed on a minivan.
He was pronounced dead at the scene with severe head injuries. His wife has been informed. The last message posted on social media by the tourist was a sweet message to his wife, wishing her a wonderful Valentine's Day.
Lieutenant Colonel Tamen Somrak, the on-duty officer who dealt with the crash, said: “The station received notification from the radio centre at around 5:10 am there had been a crash involving three vehicles.
“The British man was dead when paramedics arrived. His body has been taken to the Vachira Phuket Hospital for a full autopsy."
