As fans gear up for a brand new series, TV bosses appear to be in no shortage of stars eager to face off in the kitchen, according to a report. This Morning star Craig Doyle and TV star Christine Lampard, who regularly presents on ITV's Lorraine, are reportedly joining the line-up of the stars set to appear in the celebrity version of the show. Other names that have reportedly been added to the mix include Line of Duty legend Rochenda Sandall and comedian Eshaan Akbar.

"Diane was one of the most popular people to take part in the show," a source recently said. Speaking to The Sun, the insider continued: "Traitors fans will be delighted she's making an appearance in another BBC prime-time show, and will get the chance to prove she's not the kitchen disaster her son claims she is." Last year, Wynne Evans, who is best known as Italian opera singer, Gio Compario, in the Go Compare insurance adverts, took home the title after beating former Emmerdale star Amy Walsh, and Love Island's Luca Bish in the tense final. Speaking after being announced as the winner, Wynne said the competition was life-changing, adding: "This a brilliant feeling, the kids will love this - they'll be like: 'Dad, I can't believe you did it when all you cook for us is beans on toast!'" before breaking out into celebratory opera song.

Asked whether he had expected to make the final, he said: "No, because I didn't know what the competition was going be like on day one. So, all I wanted to do was not be first out, that was my main thing. Then as the series went on, I suppose the camaraderie took over really. Of course you think ahead, but you don’t want to plan too far ahead because you don’t want to jinx yourself."
