Gemma Collins revealed she 'didn't have a bra on' when her fiancé Rami Hawash got down on one knee to propose to her.

The former The Only Way Is Essex star, 43, was shocked when Rami, 49, proposed to her during a candlelit dinner on the beach in the Maldives. Gemma thought the duo were simply having a romantic dinner when she was surprised to see he was actually proposing to her.

Gemma has since shared the special moment with fans on social media, with the star writing: "A very beautiful moment I wanted to share with you all. I’m blown away and in a total love bubble right now. I want you all to know the universe will always lead you to who you meant to be with. If you are single this Valentine’s embrace your time embrace yourself because one day you WILL BE.

"He/she … them/they are COMING for YOU so live your life and just trust the process and girls I didn’t have a clue I had no makeup! no bra on !!!! I didn’t know it was being filmed I thought I was having a chilled beach dinner. You have all been on this huge journey with me !!! I spent so many years not being appreciated for the woman I am !!!!"

She continued: "Wasted so much time on the wrong people who took advantage of my good nature heart … however it led me to my KING @rami_hawash_ this man APPRECIATES ME one million percent! The star posted a video montage of their tropical trip. She included clips of the two holding hands, embracing and enjoying the view. She also added a few snaps of her, Rami, and his son Tristan. Finally, the reality star ended the post with a video of the romantic proposal.

'Will you marry me?' was lit up in the sky as he got down on one knee by their dinner table setup. Fans were incredibly excited for the TV personality and rushed to the comment section to congratulate the happy couple on getting engaged. Saira Khan wrote: "Congratulations Gemma - so happy for you - I wish you both a lifetime of love and togetherness."
