Emmerdale fans spot clue which 'proves' reunion for Charity and Vanessa
Emmerdale fans are sure they've figured out a reunion between favourites Charity Dingle and Vanessa Woodfield.
Charity - played by Emma Atkins - has had a rough few months in the village after nearly losing her life in a car crash, but has ended up back with Mackenzie now. Meanwhile, Vanessa Woodfield - portrayed by Michelle Hardwick - has just made her return after over a year away for maternity leave and after the pair shared a sweet interaction tonight, fans were desperate for them to reunite.
Charity, who is currently married to Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), was surprised to see her old flame in David's shop in the village, with her son Johnny. Her son Moses was excited to see his former step-brother, and they quickly ran off to play.
As Mack watched the two women closely for any signs of reconnection, Charity assured him otherwise. "It was like the old days," she said, thinking back on her past life. "Don't know where you get your energy from," Mack replied. "Good seeing Vanessa."
Charity is now with Mack"Yeah it is now we can put the past behind us. Means we can all just get along doesn't it," Charity added hopefully. But her next comments left many viewers feeling that a reunion might be imminent.

"There's no lingering feelings if that's what you're wondering. I'm just glad we can be friends," Charity said, making fans think the show's writers are hinting at what will happen next. Fans took to social media to share their predictions, with one saying: "when vanity get back together we'll all be laughing at the 'no lingering feelings' line."
Another wrote: "vanity still love eachother so much i need gas and air #emmerdale," whilst someone else shared: "Charity was definitely lying to Mack there, it was obvious. They're defo going to get back together!!! #emmerdale." Another fan penned on Twitter: "VANESSA CHARITY MOSES AND JOHNNY REUNION!!!! #Emmerdale"
Emma was previously asked if she thought there was a potential romance for Charity and Vanessa. She said: "Yes, a lot of people say that - but then again, when something becomes too happy, people suggest there needs to be conflict for it to be watchable in soaps. So, there is that element. Also, Michelle had to exit because she was having a child, so they needed to put something in the way of us, which is part of life when people come and go out - soaps need a reason why people have to break up. It was a very beautiful, wholesome relationship, and Charity isn't used to that, she's used to being part of quite a toxic environment."
