Dancing On Ice star dealt crushing blow hours before live show
Dancing On Ice will see two celebs leave tonight but a body language expert believes he knows the result already.
Comedian Lou Sanders revealed that she may have a secret weapon up her sleeve to be a strong contender after taking up rollerskating during lockdown. But it seems that the 38-year-old star's hobby has not reflected in her skating ability, leaving the judging panel to give her low scores.
And now, body language expert Darren Stanton has predicted that the star, who has appeared on shows including Would I Lie To You, will be the next celebrity to leave the competition tonight. This comes after her latest performance, as he claimed that she didn't "look connected" with her professional skating partner, Brendyn Hatfield.
In a recent interview, Darren explained: "Lou has lost a lot of enthusiasm towards competing. I don’t sense that she’s working towards a specific goal. It seems very one-sided between her and Brendyn." He added: "A lot of the time, they appear distanced and just don’t look connected on a good level. There doesn’t seem to be a strong rapport between them. I do believe her performance was the weakest, and she could be leaving this week."
Ahead of the competition, Lou revealed that she had shown off her rollerskating moves on the social media platform TikTok. Back in October last year, Lou said in an interview: "I worked out recently that the adrenaline I get from the skate parks is the same as I get from gigs."
Strictly's Molly Rainford and Tyler West fuel romance rumours while on tourShe continued to tell The i: "It’s as embarrassing as when you start comedy because there are all these cool kids, who are really good at it and you’re scrambling around like a toddler.” Appearing on Question Team on Dave, a video of her skating while on holiday in Tenerife was played to the audience and panel.
She then confessed that it was her dream thing to do. She added: "I like physical adventure. That sounds rude." Lou also revealed: “I’m nervous about cracking my head open, or just bashing the old head. I can’t afford to lose any more brain cells. I’m also worried about my partner picking me up, he’s going to have to be very strong and very brave."
But Lou is not the only celebrity to possibly have their journey on the ITV show cut short - so too is Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards. Speaking to Betfair Slingo, Darren said that Eddie may be the underdog but he "won't win." He said: "Eddie continues to prove he is the underdog of the competition. I can’t see him winning the competition, but it will be close. Eddie and Vicky have a lot of confidence in each other. "
He added: "They show they trust each other a lot and that is key. I can see genuine smiles, eye gazes, and reciprocated touches, which all demonstrate the closeness in their connection. It’s clear Eddie works very hard every week and has a real persistence about him. He’s focusing all his energy into making Vicky proud and wants to push himself to the next level.”
