Super Bowl Sunday is in Las Vegas for the very first time, and this year's match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will be commentated on by two familiar voices in the broadcast booth, Tony Romo and Jim Nantz.

They'll be returning to the booth for Super Bowl LVIII, marking their third time teaming up for a Super Bowl commentary. Many wonder how much these famous commentators earn for their work. CBS pays them an annual salary rather than a one-off payment.

According to the New York Post, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Romo earns £13.5 million a year from CBS, having signed a multi-year extension in 2020 worth around £80 million.

Nantz also receives an annual salary from CBS, reportedly around £4million according to Sportskeeda.

The iconic voice of football and golf is estimated to have a net worth of almost £12million.

However, his co-commentator Romo, who spent 14 seasons with the Cowboys, has a higher net worth. Celebrity Net Worth estimates that Romo's successful career as a player and analyst has earned him a net worth of £55 million.

For Nantz, calling the biggest match of the year for the seventh time is a thrill, especially with the final game in Las Vegas. He told The Athletic earlier this season: "This will be the ninth Super Bowl I'll be part of and the seventh time I called the game."

He's excited about a new host city saying: "So here's Las Vegas that has stood for so many things aside from just the gambling. We're talking all these prize fights and massive entertainment shows. The biggest and the best have come to Vegas."

"And now we actually are going to have the chance, the responsibility, to document the single biggest event in the history of Las Vegas. It sounds like hyperbole to say that, but give me something that's bigger than this. There is nothing that's bigger."
