MIC star Miles adds to romance speculation with 'giddy' Dancing on Ice partner
They appear to be made for each other – and Dancing on Ice star Miles Nazaire would be furious if he was partnered with anyone else.
He and Vanessa Bauer have sparked speculation they are an item with their flirty behaviour on set, with Miles appearing to kiss her neck during one routine. And opening up about his feelings, Miles reckons he brings out the pro dancer’s “giddy side” when they skate together.
But while insisting they are not in a relationship, the Made in Chelsea star, 28, said: “Honestly, if I was paired up with someone else I’d be so frustrated, knowing that we are so good as a match, as a pair. It’s really, really great. She’s great. She’s a little bit strict, in such a good way though. And we do have such fun. I think I bring out the giddy side of her, which is nice. She gets a bit annoyed when I’m playing around too much but, yeah, it’s great.”
Miles and German star Vanessa, 27, have wowed viewers with their routines in the ITV contest and are hotly tipped to go all the way and lift the trophy.
But Miles – who has also appeared in Celebrity Ex on the Beach and Celebs Go Dating, and last year fronted Channel 4 documentary Obsessed With My Muscles – went on to admit that the connection between them was not instant.
Corrie's Sue Cleaver says I'm A Celebrity stint helped her to push boundariesHe said: “Funnily enough, we didn’t click when we met. I think she didn’t get what kind of person I was. But then, in the first week, she got to see this completely different side, and she was like, ‘Wow, you’re not what I expected. You’re actually just very kind and goofy, and you work really hard’. And I think I showed that I connected with her on another level. We have deep chats and it’s really nice to have that, not just a dancing partner but a friend.”
Asked if the pair were romantic, he replied: “No romance at all. I know fans will be disappointed because we do look good together and that’s great. But I like that we can bring that feel to our routine – especially with the Twilight song, which was romantic. I like the fact we can show that and then the lights are off and we’re friends. She’s just a brilliant performer and I’m happy that we can do both sides.”
