Love Island's Joe shares real reason he picked Arabella over Molly amid exit
Love Island All Stars contestant Joe Garratt has spoken out after his brutal exit on Friday night's episode.
The Islanders had been playing a game on Thursday, deciding whose feelings were one-sided and who were the couple lacking sexual chemistry. However, they were asked who they thought the least compatible couple was and whilst they thought it was a game, host Maya Jama soon arrived to tell them it wasn't and their decision would have a big ramification for the others.
Joanna Chimonides and Chris Taylor, Eve Gale and Casey O'Gorman, Arabella Chi and Joe Garratt and Jess Gale and Callum Jones were all chosen by the other Islanders as the least compatible couple, and thus they were made vulnerable. On Friday night, it was revealed that Joe and Joanna had been dumped.

Earlier this week, Joe joined as a bombshell and it wasn't long until his history with Molly was revealed, where he even picked her for a kiss during a racy game of dares.
When it came to the recoupling, viewers had expected Joe to pick Molly but instead he picked Arabella, who had expressed her interest earlier in the episode. Talking about his decision and his favourite show memory, Joe said: "The recoupling when I chose Arabella because all day I alluded that I might choose elsewhere and ruffle some feathers but I’ll never spoil love. I’d rather watch love blossom than steal it, but it was fun to see the boys sweat a little over my decision." Elsewhere, talking about his exit, he added: "I was there for a short period of time but I guess it just just happened to be my time."
