Natasha Bedingfield's youthful appearance shocked Lorraine viewers on Thursday.

The British singer, and sister of fellow popstar Daniel Bedingfield, spoke to Lorraine Kelly about the fact her 2004 hit Unwritten has jumped back into the charts after it's release 20 years ago. Natasha's hit track has found a new fanbase after featuring in new move Anyone But You, starring Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell.

Unwritten was originally released 20 years ago and was the soundtrack to reality TV series The Hills for the course of its run from 2006 to 2010. The singer told Lorraine how she wrote to track to her younger self, adding: "It's what I would want to know when I was 14."

Natasha, 42, said it was great that the track continues to have relevance for a younger age group even after 20 years. She added: "I didn't know how that would apply to me now. Now I have to try to live by it."

Lorraine viewers couldn't believe Natasha, who now lives in America with her son, aged six, had first arrived on the music scene two decades previously. One viewer wrote: "Natasha has hardly aged a day god I loved Unwritten growing up."

Another added: "Our Natasha Bedingfield is on Lorraine and she looks 3 and half weeks old omg," as a third questioned: "How on earth is Natasha Bedingfield’s Unwritten 20 years old?!" Someone else joked: "With Holly Valance, The Sugababes and Natasha Bedingfield all in the news we're starting to wonder if we’ve accidentally tuned out of Dave and into CD:UK."

This isn't the first time Natasha's music has gained popularity after featuring in a film. 2010’s Easy A starring Oscar winner Emma Stone included the artist’s track, Pocket Full of Sunshine. In one scene, Emma's character receives a birthday card which when opened continually plays the 2007 hit. Speaking on Instagram. Natasha recently revealed how the track was almost re-written.

She said: "I have my song in Easy A and there's this moment where Emma Stone starts singing it and when she first starts singing it, 'She's like that's the most annoying song in the world.' One person in my family told me, 'Do you know that song is really annoying right?' I tried to rewrite it before I released it, I didn't want to annoy people. But, that song is a hit and it is what it is. It was hilarious because she ends up loving it, it ends up going round and round and it ends up being the soundtrack of her life."
